What are Fluoride Treatments?
Fluoride is a powerful mineral found in many everyday dental products, like toothpaste and mouthwash. Its main job? Strengthening tooth enamel and making your teeth more resistant to cavities. While using fluoride at home is important, professional fluoride treatments offer an extra layer of protection—especially for those at higher risk of decay. At Smile Studio Dental, we offer fluoride treatments for both kids and adults to help keep every smile strong, healthy, and cavity-free.
Why might you need Fluoride Treatments?
There are several reasons why fluoride treatments might be recommended. If you're more prone to tooth decay, fluoride can provide an added layer of defense. This is especially helpful for children and teens, who may not always brush and floss as thoroughly as needed. For others, fluoride treatments work alongside daily oral care to strengthen enamel and boost overall dental health.
